Job Description
Wanted: An experiencedSeniorNetworkEngineerwith demonstratedexperience indesigningand implementingcomputer and information networks, such as localarea networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets,extranets, and other data communications networks. Perform networkmodeling, analysis, and planning.Design network and computer securitymeasures.Research and recommend network anddata communications hardware andsoftware.Preference given to candidates with expertise in escalation supportand maintenance of complex network connectivity issues, deviceconfiguration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in mission-critical systems.As aSenior Network Engineer,you will:Work with the latest, cutting edge technology.Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals.Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan!Enjoy flexibility managing your work hours and personal needs with a singleaccrual leave plan.A week in the life of aSenior Network Engineer:Provide Tier 3service support and administration in a metric-drivenenvironment.Support Ethernet and IP based networks, architectures/designs in a high-paced, dynamic ISP environment.Design and implement the upgrade of core WAN switches to Cisco 6500-E acrossgeographically dispersed data centers, migratingmanyconnections at eachlocation.Establish network security via DMZ, VPN, IPSEC, Access-List and TrafficAnalysis (NetScout, Wireshark).Document and maintain PPSM, IP assignments, and network diagrams.ConfigureQuality of Service for routers to prioritize network traffic,increasing overallperformance.Use network performance management tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, MAP,Black Status) to analyze and report network traffic and utilizationpreventing network latency and bottlenecks.Providebreak/fix, upgrades, patching and outage restoration servicefornetwork components, routers/switches/NL/FW/IDS/Taclanes.Configure and maintain F5 LB for mission-critical applications - identityverification, traffic analysis and application LB.Automate network connectivity for Kubernetes OpenShift clusters.

If this position is performed from Colorado, pursuant to the Colorado EqualPay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this positionis$76,800-$128,300. Actual compensation will be determined based onseveral factors permitted by law. Pursuant to Colorado law, the actualcompensation paid for this position may be outside of this range. Required: a minimum of10 yearsof recent and relevantexperience.Required certification: Cisco Certified Design Professional R&S (CCDP).Preferred education: A Bachelor's degree from anaccredited college oruniversity in information technology management or a related field.Domain expertise:Networking,Routing Protocols,Security,VoIP,Ticketing.Techni al skills:Nexus-7200, 6500, 3900, 2900, ASA 5510,Alcatel-Lucent SAR8,HSRP/VVSP/GLBP/NATACL/QOS/Route-maps/Multicast, multilink,GRE Tunneling, IPHelper, DHCP Relay, and Port channeling,BGP, OSPF, EIGRP,VPN,IPSEC, Access-List, NetScout, Wireshark, Unity, CUCM, CME, UCCX,IBM ClearCase,Otherpreferred certifications:CompTIA Security+ Certified,CiscoCertified Network Associate Security,Cisco Meraki Network Associate.Previous Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel clearancepreferred but not required.Prior experience with and knowledge of TSA's mission priorities,systems, and applications preferred but not required.Strong written and oral communication skills.
