What to expect:
Steer the risk appetite with regards to the company's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), in alignment with the Merchant Risk teams and the relevant senior management of the company. Make sure business line specifics within the merchant portfolio of the company are considered in any AUP updatesPerform oversight of the merchant onboarding and review activities across businesses, raise identified gaps and monitor their mitigation from the responsible teamsAct as a central point of the combined Merchant Risk/Compliance teams for any merchant escalations, including exceptions to policy for merchant onboarding and reviews. Escalation point for complex business cases that require assessment and resolutionEnsure merchants with significant Adverse Media, AML, TF or other Compliance related concerns are timely escalated to the MLROs and/or SVP Compliance for review and decisionReview and propose updates to merchant related policies, in alignment with Merchat Risk teams, to ensure evolving industry and regulatory requirements are metRepresent Compliance in critical business and other projects related to merchants and corporate partners Contact point for all teams on a group level for merchant compliance topics. Escalation point for the most complex compliance business cases that require assessment and resolutionEscalate to senior management when necessary and propose solutions from Compliance standpointClosely collaborate with the other Compliance functions to ensure consistency in the approachReview and approve training materials related to Merchant Compliance Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to improve processes or implement system solutions
To be successful you need to have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law/Business Administration or equivalentExperience in onboarding entities from high-risk industries and assessing various business modelsExcellent skills in written reporting and data analysisStrong English skills, both written and oral is essentialComputer literacy and strong Internet knowledge (Internet, e-mail, MS OFFICE, OS Windows)A high level of commitment and motivation, with team-work efficiency
