POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr Merchandise Manager for Mens Outerwear leads the creation of outerwear product strategy and brand growth for the global market. This position collaborates closely with cross functional partners to bring product strategies and visions to life. This role is responsible for aligning all global product strategies into one, clear, concise vision. Category ownership includes all styles from aspirational to full price to outlet to off price. Full ownership of global line planning for outerwear as it relates to assortment aesthetic direction, style / skus counts, region exclusives, segmentation, pricing, etc. Ensures all product is properly flowed from sketch creation to purchase order issue.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Define & lead global outerwear strategy on holistic and seasonal level.Collaborative & consistent communication with channels to capture unique regional & market needs.Strong partnership with design to bring product to life in coordination with the brand identity, balancing commercial with aspirational.Collaboration with raw material & supply teams to cost product at all pricing tiers within margin goals.Drive calendar deliverables on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to make sure all milestones are tracking on time.Thorough understanding of marketspace, inclusive of direct competitors and aspirational brands.Manage 1-2 direct reports at various levels.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 6-8 years of Global Merchandising experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or equivalent
Skills:
Strategic thinker who recognizes opportunities and can influence decision makers to move to execution.Strong product sense with proven experience in driving product assortments and partnering with Design to conceive product concepts that drive business.Must be a creative and solution-oriented problem solver able to multitask at a quick pace.Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Must possess high level of analytical skills and conceptual creative abilityExcellent written/verbal communication and presentation skillsMust possess a global perspective with international market experience.Strong knowledge of the competitive landscapeHigh energy and a positive attitude are a must.__________

Pay Range: $110,000 - $135,000
