  Job Description

  Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

A critical part of these silos is the Infrastructure Services, including Compute, Storage, and Messaging service.   Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure team is building new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at a high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment.   Skills

  3-5+ years of experience on large scale highly available distributed systems

  Must have a strong knowledge of object-oriented paradigms, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.

  Strong programming experience in one of C/C++, Java, C#, Javascript is preferred. Experience in Golang, React, Go and Terraform is a plus.

  Experience in one of the scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, etc is preferred.

  Experience in microservices architecture, API-driven service-oriented architecture, Kubernetes, Containers, and Cloud Control Plane is a plus.

  Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS), and security architectures is preferred.

  Familiarity with operating systems internals, device drivers and firmware is a plus.

  Systems fundamentals

  Experience in developing and debugging complex systems based on hardware components such as smartnics, network interface cards, Linux PCIe subsystems and storage devices.

  Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures.

  Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence

  Knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals.

  Technologies

  Experience with build automation, continuous integration, or continuous deployment tools

  Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

  Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure is a strong plus

  Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

  Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

  Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  11 paid holidays

  Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
