About the Role
Within the Marketplace team, our goal is to deliver the most competitive, reliable, and efficient service for riders and drivers. In pursuit of this, we use data analytics and operational levers, such as pricing, products, processes, and promotions, to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
As a Senior Marketplace Operations Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable levers to foster supply and demand growth and engagement across the region.
What the Candidate Will Do:
Monitor marketplace performance in 8 countries and over 50 citiesDesign proposals for supply- and demand-side investments, implement them and evaluate their performanceWork on innovative projects, digging deep into the backbone of the CEE marketplace using advanced analytical toolsLaunch new marketplace product features, including advanced pricing technologiesDrive automation of key business processesDesign and implement marketplace experiments and use their results to drive operational improvements in the marketplaceSupport financial management and budgeting for the regionContribute to CEE strategy development and implementationPerform price reviews for the CEE regionLaunch new pricing solutions and technologiesPerform root cause analyses to explain movements of key marketplace indicatorsData modeling (R or Python are strong nice to have)Dashboard design and implementation (e.g. Google Studio)Building ETL pipelines and data automationsStrategy development
What the Candidate Will Need:
Data extraction, cleansing, analysis and visualization - strong competency with SQL, Excel (Gsheets) is a requirementFamiliarity with tools and methods of statistical or econometric analysisFinancial management (basic understanding of budgeting and P&L management) and ability to develop casesAbility to translate data insights into recommendations and link deep dive data analysis with broader strategy
