The CMO Marketing Analytics team empowers Marketing Leaders with data insights for efficient business operations. We prioritize Self Service and Enablement, ensuring stakeholders have crucial tools to answer their everyday business questions. We are looking for a Marketing Visualization Analyst and a Senior Marketing Visualization Analyst to contribute to our efforts in transforming complex marketing data into clear and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of analytics, a keen eye for design, and the ability to communicate complex data visually. The Senior / Marketing Visualization Analyst will play a crucial role in influencing strategic marketing decisions through the creation of compelling and insightful visualizations.
A successful candidate will be passionate about best-in-class measurement, be inquisitive, have strong technical analytical skills, understand the critical value of enablement, and demonstrate the ability to draw out and distill key requirements from partners while actively listening to all parties.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Own the development and maintenance of advanced marketing data visualizations and dashboards to help the marketing team make impactful decisions and understand the overall health of their businessCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing teams, data scientists, and IT professionals, to capture requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.Use dbt (data build tool) to model, document, and transform data, creating datasets that power effective marketing dashboards, reports, and presentationsDevelop and maintain a library of reusable data visualization components, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in visualization projects.Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and data engineering, driving efforts to build new data pipelines where necessaryStay updated on industry best practices and trends related to data visualization and marketing analytics, implementing new tools and techniques to improve our visualization capabilities.Optimize and enhance existing visualizations for performance and usability.Mentor and provide guidance to junior visualization analysts, sharing best practices and knowledge.Analyze marketing data to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities and transform this information into impactful data visualizations.Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and integrity in visualization projects.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in Tableau desktop, prep and server (complex calculations, parameters, and LOD expressions as well as data preparation, blending, and aggregation)Advanced SQL skills: Proficient in writing sophisticated SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze dataProficiency in working with dbt and github (data build tool) to model, document, and transform data in a collaborative and version-controlled environment.Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights visually.Strong interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong time management skillsAbility to work independently while prioritizing multiple projects and tasksFamiliarity with Enterprise sales and marketing practices in a B2B environment nice to haveFamiliarity with marketing practices, marketing KPIs, marketing analytics is a plusExperience with Salesforce products nice to haveA portfolio showcasing previous data visualization and marketing analytics projects is advantageous
Experience:
BS/BA degree in marketing, economics, finance, business or equivalent related experienceProven experience (2+ years) in data visualization (5+ years for Senior)

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $88,100 to $153,700.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
