A Brief OverviewThe Senior Marketing Manager serves as a department leader and subject matter expert with specific responsibility for strategic institutional priorities, including but not limited to patient acquisition, donor acquisition and thought leadership. Collaborates with Digital, PR and Creative leaders and broader team, using data and market research/consumer insights, to lead the development, planning and execution of integrated marketing strategies that help advance the mission and vision of the enterprise. Efficiently balances strategic marketing needs while managing and mentoring a team of account managers to support day-to-day business needs in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. Reports to Director of Marketing.
This is a hybrid role.
What you will doServe as lead marketing strategist and subject matter expert for institutional priorities, as assigned.Manage the relationship between MPR and identified departments and teams, while also finding synergies and opportunities for collaboration and cross-promotion across the institution.Support marketing efforts and nomenclature elements expanding facilities - PHL and KOPH campuses. Specifically, the marketing campaigns for Middleman Pavilion, King of Prussia Hospital.In collaboration with PR,Digital Strategy and Consumer Insights counterparts, develop strategic marketing plans for the CHOP Foundation and other clinical/non-clinical priority areas during each fiscal year's planning cycle, incorporating both on- and off-line strategies. Plans will address business objectives, marketing strategy, tactics, key audiences, timeline, budget, KPIs and approval process.Proactively collaborate with Internal Comms, Public Relations, Digital, Creative, Growth and Brand Communications teams and external groups including CME, Legal, Facilities and Provider Engagement, Community Relations as appropriate. Provide regular status and analytics reports on all current marketing activity, reviewing priorities, timelines, approvals and issues.Manage and project responsible budgets areas to ensure that assigned work is consistently on track, on schedule with awareness for financial stewardshipIn conjunction with the Creative Director, determine appropriate client interface on creative issues.Lead and manage every phase of assigned projects ensuring that every team member is executing responsibilities consistent with project plan, quickly resolving problems and obstacles and reporting barriers or risks to department leadership.
Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree RequiredMaster's Degree Preferred
Experience QualificationsAt least nine (9) years in brand communications or marketing. RequiredAdvertising agency experience, healthcare and/or fundraising experience Preferred
Skills and AbilitiesProficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Workfront experien e a plus.
