Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Market Risk Specialist...
In this role, you will:Be part of MFO team of CIB/WFHL and collaborate with the business and cross-functional partners to provide model oversight and governance on model use, risk ranking, inventory challenge, model change management and ongoing performance monitoring for traded risk models according to Model Risk policy and procedures, in particular for front-office models.Participate in developing quantitative standards for aggregate model framework risk oversight and assessment.Perform independent E2E oversight, assessment, quantification, and challenges of aggregated model risk and related uncertainties for large model frameworksParticipate in enhancing the existing governance process, support RCSA and auditSupport communications with senior management, governance committees, and other internal and external stakeholdersRequired Qualifications, International:
5-8 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Market risk, Capital Markets, trading, interest rate risk, Fixed Income, Currency, Commodities, Equities Sales & Trading, Credit Risk Management, or related fields.MS/ MTech / PhD - with experience in risk management, finance, mathematical finance, or economics. Expertise in pricing derivative securitiesHave a background in advanced quantitative analysis, testing and model development/validation responsibilitiesAbility to interact with a broad set of stakeholders across the firm and process/project managementDesired Qualifications:Market Risk or CIB Risk experience in managing global complex and multi asset derivatives exposuresAbility to understand traded products, data flow across systems, complex CIB credit product structures, and ideally well-versed in capital markets products.Highly skilled communicator who ensures key messages are cascaded throughout the organizationAbility to liaise with businesses and risk portfolio leads and manage multiple front-line demandsNavigate organizational complexity and break silos.Creates and sustains a network of strong partnerships with the business in all segments & geographies and other risk functionsProven ability to effectively engage with internal control functions including Internal Audit and RiskDemonstrates strong conduct, ethics and integrity.Job Expectations:Posting End Date:
