Manufacturing Production Process Engineering focuses on implementing and maintaining production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of arresters. As an Experienced Professional, applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Works independently with general supervision. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
Your Responsibilities:
Maintains existing manufacturing processes.Utilize and maintains manufacturing systems databases.Participates with designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of arresters.Designs arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout.Specifies designs for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment.Conducting tests throughout all stages of production to determine control over applicable variables and troubleshooting/solving production problems.Ensuring that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.Works independently with general supervision and supporting functional departments.Other duties may be assigned.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your Background:
Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.A minimum of 5 years of experience in high volume manufacturing processes with automation experience.Possess good computer skills and working knowledge of Excel spreadsheet analysis.Travel 10%
