Who we are looking for
Global Credit Finance (GCF) is seeking a data analyst in its Data Management and Strategy team. The role will support all Global Credit Finance products, including Commercial Real Estate, Fund Finance, Leveraged Loans, Municipal Finance and Stable Value Wrap.
Global Credit Finance's mandate is to attract, support and retain bank clients through the use of our balance sheet and strong rating, and to add income and diversification to State Street's portfolio of on and off balance sheet investments.
We accomplish this by offering a broad range of products that meet our clients' credit needs, and partner with the Global Clients Division (GCD), Global Relationship Management (GRM), and Sector Sales product sales teams to attract and grow client relationships. As a result, we cultivate and maintain strong long-term relationships with a many of the bank's largest clients.
Responsibilities of the position include establishing a division-specific data mart to include determining the best platform and developing business requirements to aggregate and normalize various data sets. Role will be responsible for working with various stakeholders to develop management reporting and dashboards to drive decision-making and strategy.
Candidate will have experience with requirements gathering, entity relationship schemas/mapping and data normalization.

What you will be responsible for
Develop GCF-level data mart; create synergies with data from various sourcesMonitor and control data delivery to ensure downstream consumers properly utilize/disseminate GCF dataLead data analytics-related activities, ensuring a governance infrastructure is in place and maintainedTransform raw data into meaningful reporting to enable strategic, data-driven business decisionsIdentify improvement opportunities to systematically automate manually sourced data and processesPerform validation between business unit and downstream systems of recordManage small applications and end user developed tools, to include testing and maintenance
