JOB SUMMARY
As we continue to expand our portfolio of technology projects, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Technology Deployments leader to ensure seamless integration and compliance of technology projects deploying across our franchise and managed hotels. This individual leads a team that is responsible for managing and resolving critical issues and challenges that may arise during the deployment of technology projects and works very closely with the deployment project managers with tracking progress, managing escalations to drive compliance of hotels within the projects’ deadlines. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of hotel technology, project requirements, and a proven achievement in successfully leading technology deployment teams to success. Manages vendor responsibilities when applicable. Occasional travel required.
Education and Experience
Required:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
7+ years’ progressive and relevant experience managing technical services and/or technical implementation/deployments
3+ years project management experience that includes experience with tools such as PowerBI and JIRA
Supervisory or Management experience
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Project Management Certification (PMP)
SCRUM Master/Agile experience
Proficiency in Business Intelligence Tools
Proven track record of leading teams through process improvement and adherence to standards
Strong business acumen and in depth understanding of hotel operations and processes
Experience in developing and leading effective Business Relationships with Senior Leaders
Experience in managing a project team and influencing the work of others across the organization
Working knowledge of Marriott Information Technology Standards
Experience in change control processes
Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Availability to work outside of traditional business hours to facilitate project events as needed

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Operates independently and leads the team in managing complex, high-priority concerns to ensure the successful implementation of on time technology deployments.
Collaborates with director and project managers to define and prioritize deployments of technology initiatives aligned with US & Canada Continent IT organization’s goals and roadmap.
Continuously monitors the deployment process for potential issues and risks with projects being deployed and partners with various stakeholders to find resolution
Defines and follows clear criteria for escalating issues to various stakeholders based on severity, complexity, and potential project impact.
Provides regular and concise reports to leadership and stakeholders regarding escalated issues and their resolution status.
Responsible for tracking project progress and escalations and works with business analyst to ensure continent IT reporting is accurate and timely
Facilitates collaboration between various teams to ensure a cohesive approach to issue resolution.
Gathers, leads and manages the onboarding of resources to support project deployments.
Establishes a continuous feedback loop to capture insights and lessons learned from escalated issues for future projects.
Develops and drives process optimization to improve overall deployment efficiency and effectiveness.
Participates in regular meetings with project managers to provide progress updates, raise concerns, establish synergies and partner to find solutions when challenges arise.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038.00 to $209,169.00 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038.00 to $190,154.00 annually.
Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $116,205.00 to $209,169.00 annually.
New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038.00 to $209,169.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038.00 to $209,169.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
