The Ad Platforms group is seeking a highly-functioning, dedicated, and versatile senior leader with a strong technical background, experience delivering enterprise software/products, and leading technical teams. Candidates should understand the big picture while also being able to dive into technical details and take lead on solving problems. This role will lead highy-visible business programs that partner with all aspects of engineering, marketing, legal, support, and product release.

Proven track record building teams and leading them to successful product delivery. Strong technical leadership skills with proven experience in development, release, and support of mission critical services and products. Experience leading projects in a matrixed environment including working with technical leads, software developers, and business operations. 8+ years in project management, program management, product management, or engineering management focused on the delivery of complex, consumer-facing software applications. Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, with the ability to positively present themselves and build trusted relationships through all levels of an organization. Familiarity with the advertising industry, ad technology, data privacy, and related legal and regulatory concerns preferred. Consulting experience is a plus but not required.

Description
Lead engineering delivery and launch of strategic business initiatives for Advertising Platforms. From early conception to mass-market launch, this role will require a broad ability to both drive entrepreneurial ideation and the strategic engineering execution of product vision. Analyze tradeoffs between prioritization, product features, marketplace timings, and budget/resource availability, and steer project stakeholders to align on key decisions Partner closely with cross-functional teams in Product, Operations, Marketing, and other Apple teams to plan the launch of new business initiatives. Represent the needs and commitments of the engineering organization to these teams to ensure successful delivery against timeline, dependencies, and unforeseen conflicts. Prepare and present insightful updates on key strategic initiatives to the organization and to leadership.

Bachelors, Masters, or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
