CVS Health is hiring a Senior Manager, Software to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. In this role, you will analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; develop and deploy application components, and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices.
Responsibilities:
-Architect, Build and Support the Enterprise Data Platform
-Coach and develop a team of direct reports to grow their technical expertise
-Define and lead the Data Platform Services technology architecture and roadmaps following use case patterns and best practices.
-Maintain local documentation, which is updated on all features of infrastructure. Finally, they must have the inclination and the capability to learn new technologies and provide support for them.
-Manage production technology incidents / events to resolution within a timely manner
-Proactively identifying and resolving common root causes of issues and addressing those to improve overall production stability.
-Collaborates with internal customers and stakeholders to ensure alignment in product deliverables and roadmapsWhile posted in Texas, this position can also be based near our Hartford, CT, Wellesley, MA, or Woonsocket, RI office-8 years of hands-on experience in architecture, design or development of enterprise applications and integration-6 years of experience in architecting, designing and building GUI screens on Cloud Data platform.

-8 years of experience in projects development & delivery
-6 years' experience in big data/cloud application development and implementation.
-4 years of experience with each of the following: Kotlin programming; Modern software development frameworks; Mobile applications development; MVP and Clean Architecture; Accessibility development; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; and CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps.-Experience with cloud technologies containers orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant
-Ability to do hands on development work in Java, NodeJS, and JavaScript
-Self-starter who can see the big picture and prioritize their work to make the largest impact on the business and customers vision and requirementsUnderstand security threats and patterns and ensure adherence to all regulatory initiatives, HIPAA, PHI, PII, locational and contractual data restrictions.Ability to identify a vision along with the plans, which need to be implemented to meet the end goal, evaluating situations, decisions and issues in the short, medium and long term.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$115,000.00 - $260,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
