The Senior Demand Generation Manager for Slack will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our marketing efforts and enhancing the impact of our global campaigns. This key role will help lead the global and AMER demand generation strategy and be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing impactful, multi-channel campaigns that not only raise awareness of Slack but also drive tangible sales pipeline growth! This position requires a strategic problem solver with a strong background in campaign management, a deep understanding of global markets (AMER, EMEA and APAC) and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and sales colleagues to improve campaign efficiency and impact.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy and Planning:
Develop and orchestrate a global demand generation campaign strategy, ensuring alignment with broader marketing, sales and business objectives.Work closely with the content team to bridge the map between our content and campaigns strategies and ensure there is alignment across every stage of the marketing funnel for key buyers and industries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Forge positive relationships with AMER and regional campaign managers, paid digital managers, and other cross-functional teams to guarantee the seamless execution of campaigns.Collaborate with regional campaigns teams, content, creative, agency partners and design teams to produce, localize and leverage engaging campaign assets and experiences that resonate deeply with regional audiences.
Campaign Execution:
Take end-to-end ownership and accountability of the campaign plan and execution, encompassing meticulous planning, budget management, flawless implementation, and detailed analysis.Employ a mix of inbound and outbound marketing tactics to drive awareness, improve engagement, and foster conversion.
Project/Budget Management:
The campaigns you envision will come to life under your vigilant project management. This involves not just leading but orchestrating multifaceted marketing campaigns. Timelines, results, and dependencies will be your canvas as you ensure a seamless execution across various channels.Effectively manage campaign budgets to improve return on investment, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently across initiatives.
Analytics and Optimisation:
Defining key performance indicators (critical metrics) and conducting regular analyses of campaign performance. Your insights will ensure that we don't set and forget, but that we continuously optimize, ensuring that our campaigns not only meet but exceed industry standard processes.
Market Research:
You'll be the vigilant observer of industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes. You'll work with regional marketing, sales and product marketing colleagues to collect market insights that will guide our agile campaign strategies, identifying new opportunities, and fine-tuning targeting strategies for sustained relevance.
Sales Enablement:
Develop and deliver campaign training and enablement programs for the Regional marketing leads and AMER sales teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to leverage campaign assets in their efforts.Monitor campaign performance through the marketing and sales funnel, and provide regular updates and insights to sales teams to optimize their outreach.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: demonstrated ability in marketing, with a focus on campaign management, preferably in the B2B technology or SaaS industry.Regional Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the global markets, with proven experience in crafting and driving successful campaigns in multiple regions.Channel Expertise and Selection: Understanding of demand generation and performance marketing channels, and how best to apply a multi-channel campaign strategy, including but not limited to display, social, email, web, SEM, ABM, content syndication, sales outreach etc.Collaborative Skills: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions, agencies and geographies.Analytical Skills: A data-driven approach, analysis of campaign performance metrics and use of insights to optimize future initiatives.Strategic Problem solver: Proven track record to think strategically, develop innovative campaign ideas, and translate them into actionable plans.Project/Budget Management: Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering high-impact campaigns on time and within budget.Sales Enablement and an understanding of the inbound sales motion: Previous experience in developing and driving sales enablement strategies is a testament to your understanding of the seamless alignment between marketing and sales efforts. You have an appreciation and understanding of the inbound sales motion and how to work with SDR/BDR teams as part of this process to improve campaign impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Relevant certifications in marketing, campaign management, or related areas would be advantageous.Technology/SaaS Experience: Prior experience working in a technology or SaaS company, especially with productivity, collaboration or communication tools, is highly desirable.Global Campaign Experience: Experience working on global campaigns and collaborating with diverse teams across different regions.CRM: Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to implement and measure campaign impact.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $159,900 to $219,900.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
