HybridWe are seeking to recruit a Senior Manager of Materials, Planning, Sales & Inventory Operations Planning to join our team!This position is responsible for managing functional areas or teams, including demand planning, supply planning, master scheduling, materials management, inventory forecasting, financial reconciliation and administering the SIOP process. With management being direct or indirect depending on the business organizational structure. This position also includes facilitating the monthly L3 SIOP review up to and including Snr Director / Ops Executive level.This role owns short (three month) to medium term (24 month) plans and strategy for production. Managers are expected to respond to difficult and complex issues, coordinate with Senior Leaders & drive significant process and systems improvements in the Materials & SIOP function. This role focuses on achieving inventory levels, by driving materials management strategies and initiatives. The Materials & SIOP Snr Manager will participate and support Materials & SIOP governance, as well as coach and develop employees in all areas (direct and indirect), utilizing aspects of CORE and continuous improvement.This role will be performed HYBRID from either Largo, FL. or Cheshire, CT.
May be eligible for relocationPrimary Responsibilities:
Set strategic direction, plan and execute on short to medium term strategies and projects (up to 2 years) for materials management.Responsible for driving initiatives that align to the financial expectations of the portfolio - daily - weekly - monthly - quarterly.Input into the Leadership Development Review (LDR) process for the Materials & SIOP organization in collaboration with matrix managers, including hiring, talent development and succession planning.Responsible for evaluating, coaching, guidance and identifying learning opportunities to all Materials & SIOP staff members (direct and indirect).Ensure materials governance compliance through the adherence to company rules, policies, guidelines, audits for the site.Establish leading key performance indicators associated with materials management performance and reports and oversee corrective and preventive countermeasures.Establish processes to optimize SIOP, capacity planning and production control aligned with applicable policy and established inventory and delivery goals.Ensure the SiOP process is fully deployed across all sites - take the lead to measure / mature the process and drive gap closure where necessary.Drive SAP planning parameter compliance and process adherence within scope of work.Drive alignment to the financial plan - taking direct ownership and responsibility for actions and their execution.Must be willing to travel both domestically and at times, internationallyQualifications/Experience Needed:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractPreferred Qualifications:
Managerial experience in materials or related fieldsContinuous improvement skills (Lean, Six Sigma, or CORE)Excellent written and verbal communicationMicrosoft Office proficiencyExperience in developing and delivering presentations to Senior and Executive LeadersSupply Chain Management, Materials Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering degrees preferredStrong analytics, numerical, and reasoning skillsSkilled at building teams and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
