What is expected of you for success in your role?
Lead the shared services organization comprised of product development and packaging laboratories and other services located in New Jersey, California, Illinois, and IndiaSet and execute the strategy for the shared services organizationEnsure facility compliance to latest standards for EHS and other relevant standards for labs and shared servicesEnsure organization awareness of internal and external capabilities for efficient project executionManage capital budget allocated to shared servicesUsing knowledge and experience of design control, guide teams for execution and cross platform organizationProvide influential leadership to the broader team in the achievement of department, division, and corporate goals.Create organizational awareness of critical business needs and objectives and provide actionable feedback to execute on the needs and objectives.Ensure that projects and products are completed on time and are of BD quality.Communicate across the organization to inform and resolve issues.Responsible for oversight of work product for associates within their team.Responsible for development of associate career progression.
Qualifications Required:
BS degree in Engineering, Mechanical or other technical fields of studyKnowledgeable in lab practices and standards for compliance and safetyStrong technical leadership skills.8 or more years of proven experience in product developmentA demonstrated track record of technical influential leadership and delivering results.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to tactfully advise decision-makers.A dedication to delivering on organizational goals.
Preferred:
A broad background with experience in Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality in addition to Product Development.Proven experience converting key trends into relevant productsProven experience developing and commercializing products in the medical device arena
