Job Description Team Summary
The CEMEA Risk Solutions team is responsible for leading the strategy, prioritisation, development and delivery of Visa’s product roadmap for all Risk solutions in the CEMEA markets. The team collaborates with local and global stakeholders to develop the go-to-market and scale up Visa’s risk and authentication solutions, and enable value additive product development . Our aim is to enable Visa clients and partners to drive better customer engagement and outcomes to grow their business. The team is responsible for driving an innovation agenda that powers Visa’s ambitions to expand into capabilities encompassing all payments brands and networks.
What a Senior Manager, Risk Solutions does at Visa:
This role is responsible for executing the implementation of initiatives that expand the reach of Visa’s Risk Solutions (Visa Risk Manager) to other Networks and Schemes in CEMEA region. Network and Scheme Agnostic VRM expansion will be supported to ensure continued commercialisation and growth of Risk Products in CEMEA including Visa Advanced Authorization/Visa Risk Manager (VAAVRM), Visa Strategy Manager (VSM) and related functionalities.
The role will own the execution and enablement of VRM functionalities across all portfolios of transactions relevant to Issuers. For success, you must work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and anchor integration workflows across schemes and networks as required that will ensure seamless and positive benefits for all stakeholders.. You will be required to understand and map out diverse clients’ cards payment network architecture , design optimum process flows and set in place streamlined project management. A client-oriented mindset with a strong understanding of network payment flows and processes is key to the role. Your passion for integrated solutioning and execution, exceptional stakeholder skills and a delivery oriented approach will enable you to succeed. You must be able to operate as a member of a team with ownership of your own deliverables.
This role is based in Bengaluru, India and will work in partnership with our market teams across CEMEA region in the delivery of ambitious product delivery and revenue goals.
This role will report to the Senior Director: CEMEA Risk Solutions.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications •Solution led thinking particularly in payments and security and passion to execute
•Demonstrated agility in working with cross functional teams and external partners as we iterate through implementation scenarios
•Experience working with a processor would be an added value.
•Strong B2B Project Management experience especially with risk platform/cards systems integration
•Expertise in fraud risk management and deep knowledge of risk solutions is preferred. Knowledge of diverse B2B fraud management platforms will be an advantage
•Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and analytical skills with an ability to deliver results, communicate complex concepts and results.
•Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analytically break down problems into a solution
•Ability to independently operate in a matrixed organization structure and deliver by maintaining productive working relationships across various functions within the organization
•Experience dealing directly with clients on implementation projects and working closely with them to understand their needs and challenges
The following are mandatory requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering
• Over 10 years of experience being a solutions architect, architecting and designing payment systems for banks
• Over 3 years of experience architecting and delivering fraud risk management solutions
• Over 3 years of experience in commercially focused roles managing risk products
• Candidate should be familiar with ISO 8583 message specifications for Visa and preferably for MC.
• Familiar with connectivity setup using Extended Access Servers (EAS) and Direct Exchange (DEX) etc.
• Transaction processing knowledge/experience.
• Strong commercial acumen, understands the economics of client’s business and how risk products can impact a client’s P and L as well as the commercial drivers of Visa’s business
