The Senior Manager, Real World Data (RWD) Operations doesn't just facilitate day-to-day operations; they're the driving force behind unleashing the potential of Oncology data access and delivery. This role is all about seizing data commercialization opportunities, collaborating with external vendors, and ensuring seamless outcomes tracking and reporting.
But it doesn't stop there – our Senior Manager, RWD Operations is on a mission to continuously elevate operational efficiency in data delivery for both internal and external stakeholders. This isn't just a job; it's a commitment to making Oncology data not only accessible but truly valuable.
Beyond that, this role steps into the shoes of an Oncology data steward, partnering with Data Governance and Data teams to transform data into something more than just raw information. The goal? To make data FAIR – Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. This isn't your typical operations role; it's an opportunity to shape the future of data in Oncology.
Data Commercialization Enablement
Conducts initial review of data requests received via Oncology Commercial Team, Marketplace, or other internal teams (e.g., Medical Affairs, RWE teams)
Coordinates appropriate review of requests by key cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate strategy, compliance, pricing, and IT resources.
Facilitates cross-functional planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of contracted deliverables
Manages stakeholder and customer relationships through clear communication and collaboration
Conducts initial review of external data and analytics vendors, qualifies opportunity for additional review by data team; includes routine participation in Business Advisory Team meetings relevant to Oncology and AI
Business Analyst/Operations Specialist
Tracks data request outcomes, carries out analysis and reports periodically to key internal stakeholders to support data-driven decision making
Analyzes consumer use case trends and end-users requirements and translates into technical requirements/specifications for data/engineering teams
Continuously monitors and evaluates operational processes to maximize workflow efficiencies
Data Access & Governance
Works with cross-functional teams to document data definitions, provenance, mappings and other metadata to support end-user needs
Collaborate with Oncology Data team to make data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable)
Identify areas of improvement or deficits as it relates to data governance
Minimum Required:
BS Healthcare Informatics, Life Sciences or related field and 7+ years relevant experience; or MS and 5+ years or relevant experience
Direct experience with healthcare data, e.g., EHR, claims, biomarker data, specifically in the oncology field
Experience in developing data product documentation
Familiar with best practices and requirements for HIPAA-compliant data processing and transmission as well as privacy and de-identification requirements
Strong process focuses and ability to work in a large, matrixed organization
