Job Description :

　　PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

　　The role is responsible for the design of projects related to packaging equipment and lines, blending, and supporting utilities, ensuring standardization of design across SC, adherence to good engineering standards and codes, and to ensure that the project/facility is designed in line with the best option for the business requirement. The role is also responsible for scouting out and validating new packaging technologies and upgradations for productivity and reliability of equipment.

　　This role is to lead end to end Project Management of all medium to large size Packaging Capital projects. The role requires the person to lead the Project from concept to commissioning through proposal making and detailing. The person in this role will be accountable for ensuring the set up and delivery of the project in full scope within time and budget. The role will also entail bringing in new developments in process & utilities projects. The key responsibility will be to bring the inputs from various discipline SMEs and lead the whole innovation / renovation packaging projects through PMCs or unit engineers. The Capex involved to be handled around 60 Cr / annum.

　　The candidate will possess strong problem solving and analytical skills, be a good communicator (written and verbal), have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with stakeholders.

　　The candidate will also be self-motivated and able to act on his initiative, be highly organized with proven time-management and prioritization skills.

　　The successful candidate will be required to lead, manage and control all engineering related activities on the relevant innovation/ renovation Package to deliver on requirements, budget and schedule in a safe and compliant manner.

　　Good knowledge on SAP

　　Act as the key contact for the packaging vertical and collaborate with the client and other stakeholders to fully define all necessary aspects of the delivery.

　　Management of co-ordination of FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ and PQ signoffs.

　　TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

　　Qualification: • B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

　　Experience: • 12-15 years experience in Engineering projects and 3-4 years of experience in Bottling/packaging lines through projects/maintenance

　　Knowledge & skills: • Knowledge of liquid packaging and blending

　　• Experience in AutoCAD

　　• Experience in engineering design
