Job Description A Product lead position in Solutions team, Visa, CISSEE sub-region. Incumbent for this role should be an experienced resource in products, will be responsible for driving consumer product strategy, development, sales, pre and post product implementation support and providing project management to different suites of consumer product capabilities (card benefits, consumer value proposition offerings, loyalty, digital solutions and platforms) in Uzbekistan and will be a part of an overall Product team serving CISSEE markets.
Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area
Development of comprehensive consumer product (both Premium and Mass) strategy which addresses Uzbekistan’s market’s/client’s needs.Drive and develop new channels of sales and revenue generation, including Resell.Drive grow and maximize products revenue in conjunction with managing expense prudently, including managing vendors’ efficiently. Support contingency plans against revenue targets to ensure success.Provide subject matter expertise to drive the sales process by partnering with other key functions within Visa, as well as supporting the post-sale process including contracts, reporting, billing, and solution/benefit utilization support. Interacting with the clients and local vendors directly and frequently is necessaryDrive better product utilization and optimization sessions with Uzbekistan market clients to enable them to maximize the benefits in using our solutions.Initiate improvements and recommendations, including for communication materials and channels, developed for use by internal stakeholders, external stakeholders for the purposes of education, sales and support.Work closely with key internal stakeholders in Uzbekistan market such as the Business Development team, Marketing, Digital solution team and overall CISSEE Solutions teams to understand client and market needs, challenges and influence the changes required to deliver greater product value proposition. Reporting Relationships & Interactions
Role is based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and reports to Regional product development and delivery team lead in the Kiev Office.Interacts regularly with staff at all levels throughout the CISSEE hub, country management, business development and other functional teams.This position will involve interaction and communication with Visa stakeholders, including financial institutions, processors, agents, merchants and vendors.This individual is expected to interact effectively with all levels of Visa management and staff. Strong interpersonal skills will be required to address on-going needs of a complex, matrix reporting structure and multinational organization. Multicultural sensitivity and good interpersonal relationship management skills are essential including the ability to work effectively – both autonomously and as part of a broader team. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent5-7 years of experience in areas of Product Management, Loyalty/Rewards, Analytics, Card Products & PaymentsProven execution experience in a product management capacity, including product development and launch and/or managing loyalty/reward programs and/or consumer propositions in financial services/retail banking/ payments arenaProduct management skills (knowledge of product lifecycle, development and implementation frameworks etc.)Strong Project Management and experience with Agile developmentStrong analytical skills and data driven aptitudeSystems thinking and understanding of software development process, including API driven solutions and web services technologyStrong knowledge of marketing, product management and portfolio management principles in financial services/retail banking/ payments arena Technical & Business
