Job Description Your Career
We are in search of a Senior Manager for Workplace Resources in ASEAN, someone who thrives in both independent work and collaborative efforts within a collegial team environment, especially within a fast-paced and dynamic company.
As the Senior Manager of Workplace Resources for our ASEAN offices, you will be responsible for leading and developing the WPR department, encompassing facilities management, leasing, project management, and contract management. Your role will also involve space planning, overseeing moves, additions, changes, and restocking activities. Financial management will also be a vital aspect of your responsibilities.
You will collaborate closely with the Safety and Security teams to support Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, forging a strong partnership for effective operations.
You can also expect to engage in domestic and international travel approximately three times a year. This individual will play a crucial role in responding effectively to emergencies or urgent issues, even outside regular working hours, ensuring a swift and appropriate emergency response, whenever necessary.
Additionally, you will actively engage with the APJ WPR Director and WPR Managers in ASEAN and Japan on regional departmental development projects in the region.
Your Impact
Leading a WPR department in a fast-growing dynamic environmentBalancing the demands of clients, other WPR functions, and other support departments whilst managing a combination of internal and outsourced resources to produce consistently excellent resultsFull cycle coordination and planning services such as reception, security, maintenance/repairs, mail, shipping/receiving archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal, and recyclingProfessional supplier management in a corporate/commercial environmentSolid experience implementing existing and developing new processes/policies/proceduresPlanning the best allocation and utilization of space and resourcesLeasing activities such as renting new space, lease renewals, and renegotiationsProject management (hard, soft services, and construction projects) and supervising and coordinating the work of contractors, ensuring minimum disruption to core activitiesExecute and prepare tender documents for signing off contract in line with company policies and involving the right stakeholdersAbility to create and manage operational budgets and calculate and compare costs for required goods and servicesSuccess in this role involves an ability to think critically and creatively, plan and execute effectively while collaborating across ASEAN & GC locationsCustomer obsessed with a focus on experience - daily engagement with leadershipIdentify and drive workplace initiatives, which automate and optimize our processesDevelop teams, optimize employee engagement, and enhance our growth outlook Qualifications Your Experience
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent practical experience or equivalent military experience requiredPossess a track record of managing Corporate Real Estate, Property and Facilities ManagementProficiency in project management, encompassing hard and soft services as well as construction projects - Experience in supervising and coordinating the work of contractors to ensure minimal disruption to core activitiesAffiliations to Corenet/ RICS/ IFMA Preferred Experience
