Summary
The Senior Manager of Partnerships will be responsible for building and maintaining Chobani’s portfolio of impact partners both at the national and local levels — specifically as it relates to Chobani’s urban impact. They will have a knack for event-planning, as they will plan and oversee many of Chobani’s volunteering events. They will be an excellent brand ambassador and champion of The Chobani Way, with a passion for Chobani’s commitment to doing business differently, and with a fire to find and partner with other business, non-profits, and NGOs with the same ethos. This role reports to the Vice President of Impact.
Responsibilities
Identify partnership opportunities to further advance Chobani’s impact priorities; build and execute a grantmaking strategy in alignment with Chobani’s impact pillars and goals Perform extensive research to understand the unique child hunger challenges of Chobani’s urban communities and build a portfolio of strategic impact partnerships that are evidence-based and scalable Diligence all potential partners, making suggestions and recommendations for partnership Assist with conceptualization, design, and implementation of a Partnerships Analytics infrastructure, including a suite of reports, dashboards, and tools to enable real-time understanding of partnerships and impact to drive data-informed decision-making Manage administration of partnership portfolio including grant-making and records maintenance Plan and execute end-to-end on volunteering opportunities with urban impact partners Raise visibility of partners and volunteering internally and externally, through partnership with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
6-8 years of experience in strategic grantmaking, social impact, or corporate philanthropy with sophisticated understanding of best practices High cultural competence and sensitivity Demonstrated program and stakeholder management skills; adept at building and cultivating strong partnerships Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Organized, with a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to manage varying deadlines, requirements, needs, and commitments A problem solver, who knows how to change tactics or direction when presented with new ideas, barriers, or hurdles Bachelor’s degree preferred Willingness to travel and work on weekends Ability to lift 25 lbs, when necessary to facilitate volunteering opportunities NYC based
