About Senior Manager, M&A Cybersecurity Integrations

  Labcorp is hiring a Senior Manager, M&A Cybersecurity Integrations. This role will serve as a leader within the Cyber GRC team and act as the cybersecurity M&A project manager. This individual will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and ensuring the successful integration of cybersecurity processes and infrastructure during mergers and acquisitions. This role involves extensive collaboration with IT, legal, compliance, and leadership teams to secure the company’s assets and data throughout the M&A process. The M&A Cybersecurity Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that cybersecurity considerations are effectively managed during the complex and often sensitive process of mergers and acquisitions.

  Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:

  Project Planning and Execution:

  Develop comprehensive project plans for cybersecurity integration.

  Manage timelines, resources, and budgets for cybersecurity-related projects.

  Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless integration.

  Risk Management:

  Identify and evaluate security risks associated with the merger or acquisition. This includes assessing cybersecurity maturity of the acquired entity.

  Oversee risk assessment processes and implement risk mitigation strategies.

  Continuously monitor and report on cybersecurity risks associated with M&A activities.

  Policy and Compliance Integration:

  Ensure the merged entity adheres to all relevant cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements.

  Assist in harmonizing cybersecurity policies and procedures between the merging entities.

  Stakeholder Communication:

  Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels regarding cybersecurity risks, progress, and strategies.

  Act as a liaison between cybersecurity teams and executive management.

  Incident Management:

  Update unified incident response plan to address potential security incidents in the integrated environment.

  Develop and implement an incident response plan for issues arising during the M&A process.

  Technology Integration:

  Oversee the integration of cybersecurity technologies and infrastructure.

  Ensure that sensitive data, including regulated data, customer information, intellectual property, and employee details, are transferred and stored securely during integration.

  Ensure compatibility and security of combined IT systems.

  Ensure issues identified during due diligence are remediated within policy.

  Training and Awareness:

  Coordinate delivery of cybersecurity training and awareness programs for new employees.Job Requirements:

  Ten years of experience is required, fifteen years is preferred.

  Proven experience in project management, ideally in cybersecurity or IT.

  Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.

  Experience in managing cybersecurity aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

  Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  Proficient in risk management and compliance.

  Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  Analytical and critical thinker, results-driven, with a keen sense of discretion and confidentiality.

  Ability to dissect complex problems, understand the implications of various options, and use data-driven insights to make decisions.

  Address and resolve conflicts that may arise due to decisions, ensuring that all parties feel heard and that the best interests or the program and organization are upheld.

  Be open to insights and use it to inform further decisions.

  Education

  Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or related field.Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:
