The mission of NVIDIA’s Silicon Solutions Group is to craft world-class GPU and SoC products for Artificial Intelligence, Gaming, Virtual Reality, Self-Driving Vehicles, Enterprise Servers, Visual Computing, Home Entertainment, and more. Specific responsibilities include product optimization (perf/power/cost/quality/features), hardware requirements specification, silicon bring-up and debug, electrical characterization, firmware, diagnostic, embedded, and driver SW requirements specification, equipment and tools infrastructure development, manufacturing test specification and system implementation, and resolution of silicon-related bring-up and production blocking issues.
As our Senior Manager of ‘Hardware Engineering—Silicon Solutions Group,’ you will have the chance to lead NVIDIA's GPU, CPU, and SOC productization functions, including memory qualification, technical program managers, and our global FARM lab infrastructure. You will manage and lead these functions to support all phases of product qualification, from market definition through production and release.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Oversee and lead NVIDIA's GPU, CPU, and SOC productization functions, which include memory qualification for all SOC/CPU chips, technical program managers (TPMs) responsible for logistics, scheduling, resourcing, and our global FARM lab infrastructure.
Drive memory productization by characterizing silicon at both component and system levels through test procedures, using automated multi-system farm frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams involved in testing, design, and circuit design.
Managed and led the global FARM lab infrastructure team, which is crucial for enabling new platforms required for system-level productization of all our silicon. This includes platform bring-up, debugging, and enabling peripherals and necessary lab infrastructure from initial power-on to production release.
Lead the TPMs who handle overall logistics in the FARM for the global team, reviewing schedules and allocating vital resources.
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of multi-site teams.
Implement corporate methods, procedures, techniques, and project and program solutions evaluation criteria.
Encourage and empower your teams to meet deadlines for key objectives.
What We Need To See:
BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
15+ years of proven experience in Silicon bring-up and productization.
6-8+ years as a direct people manager.
Background in memory qualification, preferably LPDDR/DDR, system-level testing, and lab bring-up.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and productively, meeting demanding schedules.
Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills
A clearly defined leadership philosophy, knowing how you lead and understanding which leadership styles are most effective in various situations.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:
Enjoy working and leading teams in complex environments.
Proven track record of building and leading exceptional teams from scratch.
