Develop and implement compensation strategies and market competitive compensation programs that enable Edwards to attract and retain the employees needed to meet the objectives of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze jobs and develop career continuums and job descriptions in collaboration with leaders and business partners. Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure the job required by the business aligns with the appropriate job level. Evaluate jobs using expert knowledge of job design and the Global Career Framework to establish market pricing benchmarks, salary structure assignment, and incentive target recommendationsCreate solutions to problems in alignment with pay strategies to ensure market competitiveness of compensation programs (e.g., merit and adjustment salary budget proposals, salary structures, setting appropriate starting pay, incentive compensation targets). Provide expert level advice and guidance to the business, senior management, and Human Resources to apply compensation expertise to solve complex challenges that meet business needsOversee the annual merit review for assigned BU/region, including manager training, manager/HR guidance, allocation of adjustment budgets, and cost/incumbent analysisDevelop and implement compensation pay strategies (base and bonus) utilizing market competitive and cost impact analysis for assigned regionInterpret company compensation policies and practices and local, state, and federal laws regulating salary practices, and provide analysis, advice, education and solutions to compensation issues to managers and HRBP.Coordinate work of team members, providing guidance, training and direction to execute tactical compensation projects, with timely coaching and feedback, and ensuring work is accurate and meets desired objectivesIdentify and evaluate compensation process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunitiesOther incidental duties
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Business, Math or other related field,Ten years compensation experience
Preferred:
Experience working with manufacturing compensation

For California, the base pay range for this position is $123,000 to $174,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
