Robinson is seeking an experienced Senior Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to drive strategic and financial leadership within our organization, influencing business decisions across the North American Surface Transportation (NAST) teams. Responsibilities:
Partner closely with Business, Analytics and Compensation leaders to build and analyze compensation plans and targets ensuring alignment with expected financial results
Build and manage headcount targets, drive accountability to the targets across leadership teams, and partner with HR to align with staffing plans
Develop processes to better forecast, budget and manage personnel expenses including salary, bonus, commissions, health insurance, retirement, and other personnel expenses
Lead cash flow analysis and financial modeling for key projects to understand return-on-investment (ROI) and financial projections for key projects
Support FP&A areas such as forecasting, budgeting, analyzing, preparing monthly financial results, preparing monthly financial statements and comparative reporting, analysis of Profit & Loss Statements (P&L), return on investment modeling, annual budget preparation, and influencing executive leaders
Create concise, compelling narratives to communicate analytical insight to business leaders
Support and influence business partners through the budgeting and forecast processes
Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports and ad hoc stakeholders requests
Act as key partner to business leaders in the analysis of results
Proactively identify and highlight key, actionable areas for improvement
Lead process improvement initiatives to key financial planning and analysis activities, including end user tools and resources
Serve as an FP&A subject matter expert, staying current on industry/market best practices, and share knowledge with team
Provide leadership and mentorship to FP&A team
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or college in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related major
Minimum 7 years professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or other roles in Finance.
Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing team(s).
Ability to travel up to 15% per year.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading a team.
Experience in compensation or personnel expense analysis.
Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and consult with multiple stakeholders at a variety of levels
Demonstrated ability to navigate in a matrixed organization with multiple competing priorities
Team oriented and thrives in a collaborative environment
Master’s degree from accredited college or university in Finance, Business Administration, or related major
Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
Data analytics, financial analysis, and accounting skills
Experience with finance technology – i.e. Oracle, Essbase, TM1, SmartView
Deadline and time management oriented and able to manage multiple competing priorities
