Walmart Corporate Affairs is currently seeking a highly skilled Energy & Sustainability Manager for Corporate Real Estate (CRE). You will be responsible for driving energy efficiency and help achieve the sustainability goals for our new Home Office campus and corporate real estate portfolio. You'll Make an Impact By
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive energy and sustainability strategy for the corporate campus, aligning with the organization's overall sustainability goals and objectives.Evaluate current energy consumption, waste management, and environmental practices, and identify areas for improvement and cost savings.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards energy and sustainability goals and provide regular updates to senior management.Develop and implement energy conservation measures (ECMs) and waste reduction initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.Collaborate with facilities management, engineering, and other departments to ensure energy and sustainability initiatives are integrated into building design, construction, and operations.Conduct energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency. Develop and implement energy saving and sustainability projects that lower energy costs and lower GHG emissions.Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to energy and sustainability, and recommend potential opportunities for the organization to adopt.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal energy and environmental regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, and other external partners related to energy and sustainability initiatives.Prepare and present reports on energy and sustainability performance, progress, and recommendations to senior management, and other stakeholders as needed.
You'll Sweep Us Off Our Feet If
You have experience with Corporate Real Estate systems such as BMS, IWMS, Energy, and Sustainability platforms. You have demonstrated knowledge of energy management systems, energy conservation measures, and green building practices.You have familiarity with energy and environmental regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.You have experience in building and reporting business metrics and key performance indicators.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability or related field and 5 years' experience in energy management, sustainability, or a related field, with a focus on corporate or campus settings.
Or
Master's degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability or related field and 3 years' experience in energy management, sustainability, or a related field, with a focus on corporate or campus settings
Or
8 years' experience in energy management, sustainability, or a related field, with a focus on corporate or campus settings.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP), or similar certifications strongly preferred.LEED Accredited Professional, as well as knowledge in ISO 14001 and ISO 50001
