What You'll Do
This is a newly created role critical to driving strategic initiatives that enhance Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs, processes, and products.
As Senior Manager, you will support the ERM Director and broader ERM team to further strengthen the governance, framework, and principles for effectively managing risks across the Company, and to elevate ERM's competitive advantage. You will engage collaboratively with business and risk partners to understand pain points, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen enterprise risk identification and assessment tools. Additionally, you will establish consistent routines with first- and second-line teams to provide training, share best practices, and serve as a key point of contact regarding ERM objectives and outcomes.
This position is expected to manage direct reports.
How You'll Do It
Drives enhancements to the Company's risk and control methodologies and broader risk management framework.Provides enterprise-wide risk and controls oversight and data governance to ensure consistent execution across lines of business and second line programs.Partners with other second line teams for alignment across various risk assessment programs.Develops and executes risk aggregation methodologies to support identification of material risk exposures and emerging themes.Continuously reviews objectives, outcomes, and processes used within ERM products to identify improvement opportunities; methods used may include general effective challenge, data analysis, stakeholder workshops, and user group surveys.Influences risk management activities by leveraging the team's enterprise-wide risk perspective and leads a culture of risk awareness.Embeds with key user groups (e.g., front line business units) throughout the enterprise to provide education on risk management principles, share better practices, and guide users through the lifecycle of the various ERM processes and products.Serves as key point of contact for ERM customers to provide expert guidance and training regarding risk management and ERM routines.Identifies opportunities to simplify and streamline ERM programs through automation; supports ERM team in data analysis, product reviews, and ongoing execution.Perform ad hoc ERM activities to support special projects, regulatory requests, or internal audits.Works constructively and collaboratively with others to accomplish timely resolution of requirements, findings, and leadership objectives.Uses analytics to understand themes, trends, and impacts across multiple risk types (market, liquidity, credit, operational, strategic, compliance, and legal risks) and facilitate the discussion of actions to address the relevant issues.Ensures the development, maintenance, and implementation of ERM's policies, standards, and procedures.
Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Analytics or related field6+ years of experience in Risk management experience in a financial environment with specific focus on enterprise risk management or internal audit or related2+ years of people management experience

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
