Job Description What a Digital Partnerships Senior Manager does at Visa
The Digital Partnerships Senior Manager will use strong analytical skills, contextual business sense to map the market landscape, identify partnerships opportunities as well as display creative flair to solve real world business challenges for Visa’s digital partners and emerging fintech partners.
Key responsibilities include
Research industry trends and emerging themes in technology and payments that will shape the future of Visa’s business and extract actionable business insights from the data to build Visa’s narratives and deliverables to support client engagements. Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities for their strategic and financial value and provide business rationale and analytics to substantiate the opportunities.Numerate and be able to build business cases and financial and commercial models to concretize partnership structure.Support Fintech clients and partners engagements including commercial deals, alliances and opportunities from inception to active discussions to execution.Work with senior team members and cross-functional teams to support partner implementations and onboarding to Visa network. Ensure deliverables are on track against plan. Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support the development of business cases, evaluation of funding opportunities, forecasting of revenues and expansion of Visa’s business with key clients.Develop new VIK and VAS commercial offerings and structures tailored to non-FI digital partners.Explore new partnership structures beyond Issuing to create new long term revenue sources for Visa e.g. data & analytics, loyalty and rewards, risk scoring, processing.Support engagement with the regulator on key regulatory developments that impact Visa and its non-FI digital partners.Foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with the client as well as Visa organization. The Digital Partnerships Senior Manager role is critical to growing the Korea & Mongolia’s digital and fintech business and ultimately for the execution of country’s strategic priorities. The role has strong impact on Visa’s future business, market presence, our stakeholders and the larger industry community. We need the expertise to collaborate with other key functions to drive business objectives effectively.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications What you will need:
• Bachelor degree with minimum 10+ years of experience in bigtech / fintech, retail / digital banking or consulting with a proven track record of executing projects for high-performing cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sharp financial acumen to structure creative business models and develop strategic insight with limited data.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment navigating ambiguity successfully. Prior experience leading or working with a global/regional team is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, client-facing and presentation skills, and proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
