Senior Manager Desktop Architecture/Engineering (Workstation Management, Packaging, Deployment & Custom Deployment)

Work you'll do
This senior manager will lead and participate in the architecture and engineering efforts for end-user platform solutions for the Deloitte US firms. They will ensure the delivery of these solutions with minimal impact on end-users and further support our goal of technology eminence and optimizing the digital experience for our customers.
In this role, you will:
Manage and lead architecture and engineering team to deliver an optimized productivity platform and exceptional digital experience (Desktop/laptop hardware configuration, OS platform upgrades, productivity software solutions, end-user management, client software deployment, antivirus systems, and imaging design and engineering.)Be responsible for image/application development and compatibility testing of packages on various computer platforms. You will be leading the desktop management team whose responsibilities include packaging and deploying applications, OSD Imaging, VDI and related third-level support.Oversee and facilitate research and selection of hardware and software technology standards and develop metrics and documentation that allow the firm to gauge the success of end-user technology investments.Manage desktop engineers, architects, and developers that provide imaging, desktop management, and application development deliverables to all the laptops and desktops across the firm. You will also manage vendor relationships to troubleshoot issues and provide support and service to end users.Protect the desktop environment by evaluating and determining how to react to security alerts, vulnerabilities, and industry risks.Leverage advanced workstation analytics, develop proactive solutions, and ensure comprehensive compliance using multiple enablement systems and tools.Enforce service levels and service offerings for end-user computing, including technology platforms, distribution, and deployment. You will approve and enforce processes and procedures for end user software technology platforms, distribution, and deployment.Report directly to the Deloitte US Firm End User Computing Platform Leader , with responsibility for 200,000 end points.Understand and anticipate new technologies, capabilities, and the potential impact, both positive and negative, to our workstation platforms.

Technology Support Services
The Technology Support Services (TSS) team is DT's first line of contact with personnel. Providing walk-up support, asset management, PC compliance, and mobile devices support, TSS provides hands-on support to Deloitte employees.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experienceMinimum of 7 years of experience in a technical IT roleExperience managing and supporting operating systems, use of network protocols, testing hardware and scripts, resolving platform issues, project management, troubleshooting and deployment/configuration of management systems.Minimum 2 years of management and leadership experienceKnowledge of Windows workstation platforms, Azure AD, Intune/Modern Management, GPO, Microsoft o365, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM)Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred Technical skills:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,500 to $210,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
