Overview:
The Senior Design Manager of Production Operations is responsible for working with the Creative Marketing team including Brand, Content and Product as requests come in from both internal and external partners. The Senior Manager will work closely with Sr Director of Production Operations to handle the logistics as these requests move from ideation to final delivery.
Responsibilities: Manage production workflow of the design process (ideation > assigning > execution > approval > QC > delivery) for all static creative assets. Gather necessary assets: key art, logos, print files, etc for all digital creative projects Plan daily production schedules for designers and freelancers and track project progress and route all creative approvals up to final asset deliveries. Get branding details (looks, copy, etc.) approved for use on Pluto TV platforms by legal Oversee freelance and out of house resources to execute project timelines. Working with the department lead to ensure accurate deliverables, specs, and timelines are reflected in contracts. Work closely with external parties including partners, media agencies, etc. to ensure we have all the assets we need in house or are delivering final products to correct parties. Lead meetings with individual teams for creative planning (forecasting upcoming projects, providing creative guidance, ensuring production schedule allows for pipeline requests) Ensure creative team has access to programs, software, hardware, and other resources they need by liaising with IT, HR, and other parties Represent the creative team in larger meetings and provide updates on creative projects, statuses, and taking back relevant information to the rest of the team Work with content operations and programming teams to facilitate channel launches Understand Marketing media plan mandatories. Be able to proof an MCD and work with marketing leads to correct/update all aspects of the placement prior to production to minimize revisions and avoid additional costs. Supervise and lead the production execution of content campaigns. Partner with campaign planning to flag project dates that could jeopardize the fulfillment of deliverables. Activate Legal for image, title, music or other clearances. Audit hero creative deliveries to distribute to Post or International agencies for localization. Provide input to improve and create new production systems for Operations. Find ways to do more with less.
Qualifications: Highly detailed individual with a minimum of 3 years' experience in Project Management/ Creative Operations and can take direction. 5 - 7 years of experience in Design Operations and Project Management. Must be highly detailed and offer solutions with minimal direction. Must have the ability to work well under pressure and handle numerous projects simultaneously while being flexible in the face of changing priorities and deadlines. Ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Design and the overall creative process, including formats and workflows. Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment. Will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Helpful to have experience with task management software Asana, file management software and Google's suite of tools. Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 - 123,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
