  Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.

  The Senior Manager of EDG Program Management will be responsible for managing the Data Governance program and roadmap to bring data under governance in a prioritized approach, partnering with teams across American Express that manage data. This role will also support management of the Enterprise Data Committee (EDC), a senior leadership decision-making and advisory body accountable for realizing the Data Office vision, and will work closely across EDC members, Data Office leaders and key stakeholders.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Maintain comprehensive program plans; identify, track, and manage cross workstream.

  Coordination and management of the rapidly evolving EDG program plan and longer-term roadmap

  Working with senior leader workstream and working group leads to ensure the program office has the most current information.

  Support of the Enterprise Data Committee (EDC), including managing the agenda, content, member coordination and engagement, meeting minutes, reporting, communications, and coordination of the affiliated working groups

  Qualification Requirements:

  Experience in committee and sub-committee structure management, program management, and roadmap development with strong organizational skills to be able to track important details across a cross-functional organization.

  Ability to partner and influence across multiple teams, functional areas, and levels of leadership to drive results.

  Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and encourage partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.

  High degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability and resiliency; and proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment often with significant ambiguity and needing to make decisions with less than perfect information.

  Project management, ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, deliverables.

  Qualifications

  Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
