The Walmart Health & Wellness Controllership team provides accounting and decision support for the Health & Wellness business in the Walmart US Segment. The Health & Wellness business includes pharmacy, optical, health clinics and value-based care.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Senior Manager of Controllership, Walmart Health & Wellness is a strategic controllership role supporting Walmart's H&W business. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining new financial processes and flows, financial accounting support, monthly close, reconciliations, internal controls, special projects, and consulting with business partners.
Position is located at headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas. A comprehensive relocation package is provided.

You have proven experience accounting and reporting in compliance with SEC guidelines and US GAAP.
You have knowledge of how high-level accounting impacts business decisions.
You have a process mindset that enables identification and mitigation of financial statement risks through internal controls.
You are a self-starter that identifies needs and takes the initiative to ensure they are communicated and acted upon.
You are comfortable talking to a wide variety of business partners.
You have demonstrated proficiency working cross-functionally.
You have demonstrated excellent ability to interface with and influence senior executives.
You have strong data analysis skills and are curious.
You are an expert at making complex subjects easily understood.
You have proven experience in healthcare industry accounting, specifically healthcare services, and value-based care.
You have subject matter knowledge in clinical operations, revenue cycle management, provider services, and value-based care accounting.
You're stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.
You're an initiative-taker that is comfortable supporting a new/startup area of a company.
You'll make an impact by:
Building and maintaining relationships with business and finance partners.
Partnering with our shared services organization
Ensuring new business accounting methodology is supported and applied consistently.
Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate existing/new processes as well as partnering with our shared services providers.
Providing accounting support for new business initiatives including system conversions/implementations, infrastructure build, etc.
Ensuring internal controls are designed and operating effectively as our business/operational strategies evolve.
Working on special projects supporting the H&W business.
