About Senior Manager, Compensation Programs

You will help us to ensure our systems and tools support our fast-growing constantly evolving organization. You take employee feedback seriously and collect it often to enhance our programs. Combining data and feedback from Atlassians with the latest industry research, you will make large-scale, data-driven decisions to have a huge impact.

  What you'll do

  Lead and ensure management of multiple compensation work streams including salary planning, the annual bonus process, and other compensation program delivery projects.Collaborate with People Technology resources on tool and systems strategy, improvements and enhancementsIdentify processes or capabilities that could benefit from automation or re-engineeringRemain current on global compensation technical solutions and introduce solutions to improve internal programsEnsure appropriate governance and adherence to Atlassian's compensation philosophy, policies and global labor law requirements.Assist in the development and distribution of materials that improve the understanding and value of compensation programs

  Your background

  8-10 years of compensation experienceLead a global focal compensation planning cycleBuild technology strategy, designing technology solutions, and working with People Technology to deploy solutionsExperience with big data and working between HRIS applications, solid financial and compensation modeling skillsRecommend market competitive programs to support business strategyWork regularly and comfortably with high-level individual contributors and leaders across multiple teams. Experience influencing at the senior leadership levelExperience with change management and awareness of technology and business process implications.Advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)

  Compensation

  At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.

  In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

  ZONE A: $178,200 - $237,600

  ZONE B: $160,400 - $213,900

  ZONE C: $148,000 - $197,300

  This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
