Senior Manager Communications
JOB SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for supporting the corporate, internal, and publicity activities of Paramount Global in the Netherlands. This pivotal position will manage all corporate and internal communications as well the brand activities with the support of an external agency. With a focus on internal communication, managing multiple entities across Paramount in the Netherlands and more than 300 employees under the same office, this role will be instrumental in delivering impactful messages that continue to engage and support all the teams across many functions. We are looking for a great communicator with experience in building corporate narratives, internally and externally, in a dynamic organization. This role will report to the SVP of International Communication. This senior manager will be the advisor for the Netherlands Senior Leadership team.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES: Manage all the corporate and internal activities, with a focus on internal communication and on creating the workflow and the strategy that combines needs from multiple entities. Support the agency with the brands' communications, in particular with crisis plans. Draft senior executive presentations and scripts for internal and external communications, presentations, and events (in coordination with the international team). Plan and deliver corporate and trade communication within The Netherlands. Develop strategies to position the company's executive products and services within the media, affiliates, opinionnleaders, and employees. Provide strategic communication advice to the Amsterdam Leadership Team. Manage the communications budget. Develop and sustain positive media and stakeholder relations locally. Work closely with the Amsterdam Leadership team, senior leaders from multiple entities, HR, and international comms team to create and execute an impactful internal communications program that builds engagement and creates a winning culture across the team. Ensure the region's compliance with the company's corporate communications guidelines, company positioning, messaging, and quality goals. Manage internal and external resources with a focus on cost-efficiency. That's why we want you to have: Qualification: bachelor's degree with a postgraduate preferred Experience: Seasoned professional with 5-8 years of experience, especially in corporate and internal communications. Languages: Excellent written and verbal command of English and Dutch. Ability to communicate in a Multi-lingual language environment. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with high-impact presentation skills, as well as strong influencing skills to manage local internal stakeholders' requirements. Personality profile: Strong individual with a genuine passion for the industry. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
