About Senior Manager - Campaigns & Global Segment Engagement, Electrical Sector

  Eaton's ES AMER MCO division is currently seeking a Senior Manager - Campaigns & Global Segment Engagement, Electrical Sector. This position can be based in our Moon Township PA, Galesburg MI, Raleigh NC, Beachwood OH or Menomonee Falls WI. This position is not offering sponsorship nor relocation.

  What you'll do:

  Reporting to the Director, Integrated Marketing Communications, Electrical Sector, the Senior Marketing Communications Manager, Campaigns & Global Segment Engagement, will lead the development of digital thought leadership content programs and campaigns for Eaton's Electrical Sector key strategic initiatives and content/campaigns for global segments. You will be responsible for cross-functional leadership, coordination and evaluation of integrated marketing communications campaigns and nurture programs to drive familiarity with and preference for Eaton capabilities in these key global areas.

  Leadership of digital advertising and promotion strategy/implementation, including audience/persona targeting, creative development, campaign measurement and reporting, are key responsibilities of this position. In addition, working with segment leaders and marcom teams in all regions, you will lead global collaboration and alignment across key segments and will be responsible for development of impactful content that drives engagement and consideration for North America audiences and can be applied or adapted for global audiences. Will also oversee the Electrical Sector's North America tradeshow/events strategy and implementation to ensure alignment with sector and segment priorities and optimal impact for investment, whether in face-to-face or virtual environments. Eaton Experience Center marketing and promotion will also be the responsibility to oversee and drive engagement, customer participation and effective promotion of these facilities.

  You will require close alignment with business and functional leadership and key corporate, divisional and regional stakeholders; understanding of key Eaton and Electrical Sector strategies as well as evolving market trends that impact the business and our customers; day-to-day guidance of agency partners for content creation and delivery; and analysis of measurement.

  Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, delivery, evaluation and reporting of targeted thought leadership digital content programs and advertising campaigns for Eaton's Electrical Sector key strategic initiatives to build brand engagement and preference on topics such as energy transition, cybersecurity and digitalization

  • Drive creation, promotion and maintenance of content for Electrical Sector segments across multiple marketing channels to ensure foundational materials (message maps, customer presentations, sales enablement) are current to market trends and Eaton capabilities and drive engagement

  • Drive adoption of thought leadership and segment content throughout Electrical Sector - Americas and facilitate use by EMEA and APAC

  • Lead the development, implementation and measurement of topical and segment eMarketing programs and coordinate with regional communications teams to drive adoption or adaptation of content for regional programs

  • Establish and lead editorial planning with Electrical Sector divisions and Americas region to ensure coordination of content, drive customer success stories and optimize audience impact

  • Lead communications support and resource toolkit for customer/product response in the Americas region

  • Facilitate collaboration and alignment with enterprise functions as needed including Corporate Marketing and Corporate Communications

  • Manage Electrical Sector tradeshows/events to drive storytelling and refine consistent processes and engagement on tradeshow best practices while furthering segment visibility

  • Drive effective marketing and nurturing programs for Eaton Experience Centers

  • Manage budgets for campaigns and segments to efficiently meet communications objectives

  Qualifications:

  Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing or communications

  • Minimum 10 years of marketing and/or communications experience

  • Communications planning and campaign management experience including successful campaign implementation

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

  • Experience with persona development and account based marketing (ABM)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree a plus

  • Leadership experience in matrix organization preferred

  • Electrical product, market, and channel knowledge a plus

  Skills:

  • Proven track record in creative project planning, business case development, project management, and working under deadlines

  • Initiative, organizational skills, and proven leadership

  • Creative approach to problem solving

  • Superior written communications skills, storytelling and messaging development

  • Innovative, strategic thinker with strong leadership and prioritization skills

  • Able to lead global teams in implementation of a single vision

  • Able to collaborate and work across regions, business units and divisions to lead others

  • Self-starter, with energy and enthusiasm

  The expected annual salary range for this role is $150000.03 - $220000.04 a year.
