Job Description Group Overview
The Indonesia Merchant Sales & Acquiring team (MS&A) is responsible for the short and long-term growth of merchant acceptance for Visa’s existing and new Digital products and services. The team is focused on scaling contactless acceptance, increasing ecommerce penetration, deepening the penetration for under penetrated segments & geographies and enabling a cashless market and improving acceptance quality in conjunction with Indonesia Acceptance Program (IAP) as well as Visa funded initiatives. In addition, the team also focuses on managing and developing Cobrand, Value Added Service (VAS) and Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) opportunities to support client needs. The team achieves its success through working with and through its acquiring partners, key merchant partners and the technology firms.
Position Summary
The MS&A Senior Manager, Business Development’s primary responsibility is to take ownership of the business relationships through sales efforts aimed at ensuring that the objectives of clients/partners are met while growing the Visa business.

The role holder will be working with various parties including Visa licensed financial and non-financial institutions (acquirers, issuers), key merchants, payment facilitators and payment gateway providers as well as internal stakeholder across various functions.
Responsibilities
Build and manage relationship with key clients (acquirer, merchants, service providers)
Driving initiatives to improve Visa’s Consumer Payment Leadership for consumers and merchants.
Open up new acceptance and increase Visa penetration for under-penetrated segments to drive Volume and Transaction growth.
Identify and pursue opportunity for Cobrand.
Supporting clients to address their pain points and achieve their objectives by leveraging Visa’s VAS, assets and capabilities
Identify and deploy CMS to provide end-to-end solutions to acceptance partners.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications • Bachelor Degree, from top universities both local or international.
• Strong knowledge of the Indonesia payments landscape, emerging players, business models, trends and 10+ years plus experience in the payments industry (Issuing and Acquiring) is preferable.
• Comfortable to do B2B Sales Role, while building and managing clients relationship, include pitching and negotiate for the best outcome for both parties.
• Strong project management skills and handle end-to-end process, including the implementation and monitoring.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented to achieve KPIs Target, Individual contributor and able to work collaboratively with a variety of team members including cross-geographies teams at all levels.
• Have strong analytical thinking, working with numbers, problem solving and persistence.
• High level of English language proficiency in formal business communication (verbal and written). Strong excel and power point is required.
