Position Summary This individual contributor position is responsible for in-depth development of business analytics solutions. This position will work in collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, engineers, and analysts to develop data driven solutions. This is a technical position that will involve gathering requirements, preparing documentation, combining data from multiple sources, developing ETL pipelines, and creating new datasets to support downstream reporting/analytics . Required Qualifications
5+ years of analytics experience with advanced SQL programming ability in a data warehouse or big data analytics environment (CTEs, subqueries, windowed aggregations, stored procedures, etc.).
3+ years of e xperience building high quality ETL/ELT pipelines to prepare data for downstream reporting/analytics
3 + years of experience designing and developing ETL/ELT solutions in Google Cloud Platform including Spark on Dataproc , Dataflow, and Data F usion
Experience developing datasets, tables, and views in GCP BigQuery to support downstream reporting/analytics
E xperience developing and maintaining Airflow DAGs with Python in Cloud Composer
Well-versed in data modeling concepts (dimensional/fact, cardinality, normalization, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
Experience using Cloud Shell CLI to deploy, debug, and manag e files and resources
Experience developing and deploying code through DevOps framework
Experience managing and deploying code with GitHub
Experience preparing and combining data from multiple sources (SAS, SSIS, Alteryx, etc.) or equivalent tools
Experience conducting analysis and working with healthcare claims and services data
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer/software engineering, information systems, or related field
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $149,300.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
