We partner closely with brands on strategies and solutions that harness Walmart's unparalleled omnichannel influence. The Senior Manager, Business Analysis & Insights - Marketplace role will help streamline the organization's strategic and financial objectives, and serve as a senior-level thought partner to Directors, VPs and above. This role reports into centralized insights team within Business Operations and creates value through actionable insights within a cross-functional environment to support one of the fastest growing areas within Walmart (Marketplace).
What you'll be doing:
Serve as an insights-driven thought partner to the Director of Marketplace - Business Operations on all analytical drivers, historical trends and forecasting for a high growth segment of Walmart's eCommerce/ads business.
Own all analytical projects and recommendations on how to best grow the business, including conducting deep dives and other ad hoc analysis as needed. Deliverables also include leading business reviews with WMC leadership teams at the SVP/VP levels, and providing fact-based narratives and commentary.
Embrace hypothesis-first mentality in testing theories and be able to direct the build of best-in-class cross-functional reporting.
Become an expert on relevant Walmart Connect data sets for 3rd party sellers, including and not limited to advertising performance, sales data, international growth and ad credits.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in economics, business or STEM and 5-10 years relevant work experience. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Previous analytics or consulting/strategy experience with familiarity with complex data sets preferred. Media & Advertising, eCommerce, CPG/retail background a plus.
Possesses strong critical thinking skills, business acumen and has demonstrated success in story-telling with data.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, ability to manage both senior stakeholders cross-functional projects to deliver recommendations in a timely manner.
Strong Excel/Powerpoint skills, with proficiency in SQL, PowerBI/Tableau preferred.
Superb attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
