The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents - partners, creators, consumers, and developers.
Dolby is looking for a world-class marketer that is passionate about technology, innovation and creating awe-inspiring entertainment experiences for partner, industry, creator, and consumer fan audiences on a newly created Americas Regional Marketing team. Success of this individual is being a collaborative and contributive member of the Americas Marketing team in addition to owning territory specific responsibilities to help drive brand and business goals. Experience within automotive, retail, or cinema exhibitor industry and technology is a plus.
Charter for Americas Team Achieve a deep understanding of the Americas market landscape for entertainment experiences and technology. Have a keen understanding of our key constituents - their needs, interests, and motivators. Identify targets within broader set of consumer, creator, industry, and partner audiences with whom we want to prioritize engagement. Establish the Americas regional marketing strategy based on market specific brand and business opportunities. Work with counterparts in the Commercial Partnerships, Premium Entertainment and Cinema organizations to understand and help shape territory specific business priorities and annual marketing priorities. Develop value-add relationships with key partners headquartered in the defined territory of the Americas region. Cultivate deep, senior level marketing relationships to support adoption, shape our brand presence and build confidence in the value of a Dolby partnership. Integrate partners strategically into Dolby led programs, successfully integrate Dolby into partner led programs in ways that bring value to both brands. Identify opportunities for select co-marketing opportunities. Input into and deploy global brand programs, tailored to Americas or territory specific nuance and local opportunities. Cover mid and lower funnel opportunities on the ground like events, point of sale, etc. Grow the fan base for Dolby with relevant audiences within the region - consumer, creator, and partner/industry. Do that by conceiving, developing, and activating region specific programs through the funnel. Establish goals for engagement within the context of the marketing and business priorities. Measure and evaluate impact and ROI of these activities. Individual Responsibilities Drive the Midwest territory marketing plan development and activation within the Americas region - identify opportunities, set goals, activate, measure, and analyze impact Source, grow, and nurture impactful partner relationships within the territory Go deep to identify micro-targets within the market and territory to pursue and convert as fans (consumers, partners, creators) Activate global brand programs or region-specific programs in territory with support from functional team colleagues Delivers robust ROI analysis for single activations as well as cumulatively measuring impact over time Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required Extensive work in consumer entertainment, technology industries 10+ years of experience in senior marketing (B2B / B2C) or business development roles leading partner or regional marketing programs Demonstrated ability to source, nurture, and leverage executive and senior level relationships with partner organizations Experience and demonstrated success in working across teams to develop mutually beneficial (partner and Dolby) marketing programs Requires candidate to be located within or willing to relocate to Midwest territory Requires substantial onsite work (at partners) and travel to HQ in San Francisco on a regular basis The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $$201,800 - 246,500, which can vary if outside this location,plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
