　　If you are a Maintenance professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Shakopee location, you will work on 1st Shift (4x10s). In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your troubleshooting skills to perform maintenance and repair of sophisticated production machinery and mechanical equipment.

　　IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

　　Work in a production environment with safety as the primary goal.

　　Practice safe work habits using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

　　Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.

　　Use engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and manuals to understand, diagnose issues and repair production equipment.

　　Use hand tools, including drilling, measuring tools, taps, and presses.

　　Work with maintenance tracking software (CMMS).

　　Work as part of a team learning to support all areas of production. Willing to be flexible moving between production areas based on business need.

　　Possess a basic knowledge of automation and robotics, PLC’s, and HMI’s.

　　Solid understanding of basic computer programs including Microsoft Windows/Office.

　　Demonstrate basic repair and hand tool knowledge, basic troubleshooting skills and basic mechanical and electrical skills.

　　1800 hours of technical education or equivalent

　　Six (6) years of related experience

　　Ability to work 1st Shift (4x10s)

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

　　Associate's Degree in Automatic Systems and Robotics, Electronics Technology or related

　　Maintenance or job-related experience

　　Enjoys problem solving and troubleshooting activities to fix or repair equipment
