About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Control Management Officer tasked with providing support within the Chief Control Management Executive's Policy Liaison team to ensure proper, consistent treatment of control management impacts for policy change. This role will partner with others on the team to deliver a high level of service, engagement, analysis and meaningful reporting for Control Management leaders and their teams across the company to enable a full and horizontal view of the impacts of policy change.
In this role, you will:Support the alignment of Control Management roles and responsibilities within Enterprise Policies and procedures across Wells FargoSupport the Central Control Management organization to monitor, measure, evaluate, and report impact of policy related activities, decisions and implementation plans within Control Management teams across all business groups and enterprise functionsAct as an advisor to more experienced leaders in developing risk mitigation strategies for complex and highly integrated business specific risk specifically related to policy change and implementation across control management business groups and enterprise functions.Drive consistent execution of Control Management policy activity within the Control Management TeamsSupport Central Control Policy Liaison activities and responsibilities, serving as the central point of contact and driving execution of related activities within the teamSupport the Central Control Policy Liaison on regulatory initiatives, connecting work stream activities across multiple groups within the Central Control organization.Required Qualifications, US:
7+ years of Risk Management or Financial Services Industry experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Strong expertise in policy management, execution and reportingClear understanding of the risk framework and corporate/business policies and proceduresStrong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders both virtually and in person.Experience working in a matrixed environment and the ability to effectively manage and build relationships with stakeholders across the companyLeadership and project management skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups in the development of risk management solutions and controls aligned with business/customer processes.Execution-oriented, professional demeanor, self-starter behavior; able to recognize opportunities for process improvement and willingness to act on those opportunitiesStrong listening and communications skills (both written and oral) with the ability to convey complex information and ideas both simply and clearlyExperience in a business services oriented environmentJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 5% of the timeThis position offers a hybrid work schedule. Must be willing to work onsite three days a week at one of the locations listed below.
