About the Role
Within Novartis Innovative Medicines International (IMI) we want to reimagine how to interact with our Health Care Professionals & Healthcare systems. As a Senior IT Specialist Marketing Automation you will play a pivotal role in our Marketing Automation Initiative for IMI and support us in unleashing the full potential of our customer-facing associates.
You will help us to provide orchestrated, highest-impact customer experiences, using data, insights technology & personalization at scale to:
• Unlock a differentiated understanding of our customers.
• Deploy personalized content that speaks directly to our customers.
• Deliver with omnichannel engagement to drive desired customer behaviors.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Drive forward thinking and innovation within business w.r.to tech driven business capabilities and processes, leading conversation with consulting attitude together with other DD&IT functions
• Partner with Business to drive Business transformation via technology, co-own transformation outcomes
• Support and educate the countries on personalized experiences at every step of the customer lifecycle by using marketing automation
• Measure and drive business value of transformation initiatives underpinned by Marketing Automation Product
• Define the vision, roadmap, and goal of the Product, identify and prioritize features to be delivered through the Product Backlog
• Ensure that the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed
• Cooperate with the Product Line Manager and Product Manager to determine the resource requirements to support the product roadmap
• Collaborate with the Product Manager & the Scrum Master on a regular basis and attend agile ceremonies, like daily stand ups, backlog refinements & retrospective meetings
• Facilitating demos and customer feedback sessions and help define feature acceptance criteria & test cases, assist with grooming the feature backlog and Participate in solution design & delivery
• Key business partner for business continuity and articulate the voice and priorities of the customer, act as the primary liaison with the local country product owners, deeply understand the business strategy and communicate it effectively to the development team
• Contribute to solution vision, roadmap, and content presentations, ensure solutions meet business and/or customer needs throughout the product lifecycle
• Mentor and encourage team members to recognize and act on opportunities, identify methods to improve current team processes and quality standards

Role Requirements
What you'll need:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms
• Understanding of Marketing automation - Knowledge of email marketing standard methodologies, regulations, GDPR compliance, CRM applications, Google Analytics, etc.
• Experience with data integration and management (e.g., data extensions, API integration, MuleSoft, SQL)
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant) preferred
• Solid understanding on Product/Agile way of Working
• Proficiency in English (Oral & Written)
Nice to have:
• Overall knowledge of Salesforce MarTech stack preferable
