Job Description
The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading programs and project teams to deliver Oracle ERP, Enterprise applications and complex IT infrastructure projects.
Developing and managing to industry standard project management procedures that govern our project activities (Project management methodology, Project charter, Cadence etc.)
Maintaining the appropriate balance of scope, quality, schedule and cost across programs and projects to achieve business objectives
Developing and maintaining overall program and project implementation plans
Monitoring program/project schedules and financials to ensure that work is progressing according to budget and expected delivery timelines
Skills and Requirements
Minimum 12 years of project management experience with progressive levels of responsibility
Experience leading project teams in a matrix organization
Experience leading ERP system implementations
Experience managing Enterprise applications projects (Workday, Planview, Web applications, SharePoint etc..)
Experience leading IT infrastructure projects
Experience leading projects requiring data collection, data cleansing and data conversion
Experience managing project financials (budget, forecast, actual spend) with an understanding of capital vs expense spending
Extensive attention to detail -- ability to define and monitor detailed project deliverables, risks, issues and action items and work with team to drive them to completion
Superior communication skills -- ability to effectively lead meetings and communicate project status/issues to all levels of the organization, including senior management
Strong leadership skills
Excellent time management skills with a willingness to manage various types of projects concurrently
PMP certification or a willingness to achieve in the next 18 months
Excellent problem solving skills
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and Power Point and other tools such as PlanView, Smartsheet, Oracle PPM, Microsoft project etc. Experience working in a regulated industry
Experience managing projects associated with mergers and acquisitions null
