What You Will Achieve
As a member of the IT Audit team, you'll help to conduct independent evaluations of Pfizer's Information Systems and compliance control processes worldwide to ensure Pfizer's risks are properly managed. Your team will present the results of audits to senior site and division management, including practical recommendations to address identified risks, requiring strong negotiation and influence skills.
As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. How You Will Achieve It
Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time to meet agreed targets.Understand the fundamental business drivers for Pfizer and make decisions within organization's guidelines and policies.Conduct independent evaluations of Pfizer's Information Systems and compliance control processes worldwide to ensure Pfizer's risks are properly managed.Present the results of audits to senior site and division management, including practical recommendations to address identified risks, requiring strong negotiation and influence skills.Actively participate on departmental and/or cross-functional teams addressing internal and external issues that support the department's operations and strategy.Prepare formal written reports setting forth recommendations for local, division and corporate management to strengthen and improve operations, as well as identify cost or efficiency savings.Actively participate on departmental and/or cross-functional teams addressing internal and external issues that support the department's operations and strategy.Conduct reviews of all products of audit work performed by staff (work papers, testing and sampling plans, status reports, draft issues, etc.)
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct independent evaluations of Pfizer's Information Systems and compliance control processes worldwide to ensure Pfizer's risks are properly managed.Perform the following tasks following testing plans contained in Risk Control Matrix and/or as provided by the audit manager and director:
Test Information Technology General Controls such as Security, Change Management, Software Development Lifecycle, Computer Operations. Test Application Controls/Automated Controls Test Remediation Document audit procedures, testing and discussions in accordance with established documentation standards.Work under the manager and director supervision and, with their assistance/support, present the results of audits to senior site and division management, including practical recommendations to address identified risks, requiring strong negotiation and influence skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: MA/MS/MBA preferredDiscipline(s): Information Systems Auditing required; SAP Experience preferred.Certification(s): Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.Other Training: Foreign language skills preferred.Minimum range of years experience: 2-4 yearsType of industry/organizations: Public accounting and/or internal auditing required; multi-national pharmaceutical experience a plus; international experience a plus; large corporation experience preferred but not required.
Candidates should have solid technical skills in one or, preferably, several technical areas below:
Review and evaluate IT and Process controls in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002Understanding of SAP, SAP Security and best practices solutions for SAP upgrades and implementations. SAP security knowledge should include but is not limited to SAP Authorization Concepts, Roles, Users Administration, SOD conflict resolution, SAP Access Controls, & SAP GRC Suite.Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) IT Standards, Guidelines and Procedures for Auditing and Control and Code of Professional Ethics.Control Objective for IT (COBIT) standards or equivalent.IT security and control practices for relevant platforms and systems such as Mainframe, AS/400, Distributed (Unix, Windows) environments, Web-based technology, and LAN/WANs.
Candidates should also have solid audit skills in all areas below:
Collecting and analyzing data, evaluating information, and drawing logical conclusions.Effective verbal and written communications, including active listening and presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, and resolving issues that may arise in a professional manner.Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with co-workers, staff and external contacts, and working effectively in a professional team environment in a matrixed organization.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $81,100.00 to $135,100.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 10.0% of the base salary. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Pfizer compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned locally, the US Salary range provided does not apply to the Tampa, FL or any EXUS locations.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
