Position Description:
Performs day-to-day management and oversight of private equity portfolio, including responsibility for pacing models, allocation, and strategy development along with due diligence, manager selection, and monitoring.

Major/Essential Functions:
As a senior member of the team, the successful candidate will work closely with the existing staff and have monitoring responsibility over managers and co-investments within the broad private equity asset class. The candidate will also provide research, analysis, and recommendations on managers and co-investments within the assigned asset classes. The candidate is also expected to operate as a generalist, participating in discussions on all manager selections across the endowment portfolio. This position requires an open person, with great communication skills, who desires to be part of a small team with input across the entire portfolio.
Other key responsibilities include:
Perform and document quarterly manager reviews, onsite due diligence, and annual general meetings with investment managers
Perform investment due diligence and participate in operational and legal due diligence
Assist in training subordinate staff and interns
Work to document procedures and continually improve internal research processes
Work with our consultant and peers to generate portfolio and manager ideas to improve the risk/return profile of the endowment portfolio
Maintain pacing models and pacing calendars for each private equity sub-asset class
Prepare updates for the Investment Resource Council, Foundation Boards, and the Board of Regents
Maintain performance and analytical reports, such as quartile reports on TVPI, IRR, DPI, and other metrics.
