We are looking for a Senior International Sales Manager, based in our London office, to lead the growth of International revenue out of London media agencies. The successful candidate will be required to lead and deliver the International media agency strategy for Samba UK, which centres around our TV Data offering. With a problem-solving mindset and a thirst for resolving customer challenges, you will enjoy owning the end-to-end commercial delivery for a broad range of data-led solutions.
The successful candidate will require a thoughtful, strategic approach, bringing in new and existing clients within the agency groups, and offering seamlessly connected thinking and proposals, which cover media and include a measurement/analytics agenda. You will be equally comfortable presenting a complicated solution to all seniority levels. You will be required to work closely with the VP of Sales UK in forecasting and delivering numbers and leading the strategic accounts initiative across your business.
Responsibilities:Grow adoption of Samba TV data, and ultimately revenue into International markets through London-based media agencies.Deliver consistently high meeting count, 7-10 meetings per week. Build a robust pipeline of opportunities across the Samba TV product set and demonstrate industry-leading conversion/success of these opportunities. Grow this opportunity pipeline quarter over quarter. Have a thorough and transparent approach to internal senior stakeholder reporting. Take an active role and input in team culture, strategy and company sales meetings.
Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years experience in International Digital agency sales.Demonstrable history of consistently achieving personal sales targets and delivering revenue/profit numbers.Digital experience working with and selling MS/programmatic and data solutions across Global/International teams.Experience leading client brief responses on a multi-national basis (understanding of nuances/challenges between markets is key!)Being able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the UK media agency landscape, knowledge of how to navigate it successfully and excellent digital / data knowledge.Have a pre-existing, well-established book on International media and planning decision-maker contacts within major agency groups. Being able to demonstrate that you have leveraged this network to drive successful revenue growth.Demonstrate an ability to develop, maintain and manage deep relationships with International/Global teams within advertising agencies and clients.A demonstrable understanding of the needs and requirements of digital media Buyers.You’re a self-starter and have a proven track record of growing an opportunity pipeline from scratch and you have a coherent understanding of how you’ve done that in the past.A natural level of intelligent curiosity fuels an ability to ask great questions (internally and externally).The confidence and flair to present to large and small audiences.A proven ability to close deals and achieve targets.Commitment to being a team player in a dynamic environment.You’re able to demonstrate how you fulfil Samba TV’s core values.
