  The Boeing Company's Supply Chain Information Technologist (IT) Systems is seeking a Senior Information Technology Functional Analyst to join InDirect Procurement - SAP (System Applications and Products) Ariba team within Supply Chain Systems in Seattle, WA; Dallas, TX; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ; Philadelphia, PA; or Miami, FL.

  In this role you will develop, perform analysis and research of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. The IT Business/Functional Analyst will collaborate with business and product stakeholders to define and document the "business need" into clear and precise requirements with testable acceptance criteria. The role then collaborates with the IT Delivery organization to deliver a solution that meets the business needs.

  A successful candidate will be required to have strong knowledge across direct and indirect procurement processes to lead the SAP Ariba functionality & SAP Procure to Pay to understand requirements & utilize SAP software capabilities, design, integration, testing & monitoring to improve quality of processes. Also, understands the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple stakeholders including business, solution architects and developers to implement SAP projects.

  Position Responsibilities:

  Analyze business/technical requirements and objectives, perform fit/gap analysis, and provide the best-in-class solution recommendations in P2P and ARIBA, Integrations with other modules within SAP and other applications in the ecosystemLead and contribute to the successful implementation of SAP Ariba projects, specifically focusing on Upstream and downstream Indirect Procurement moduleLead and facilitate requirement gathering session, document business requirements, perform FIT Gap Analysis, Maintain Ariba configuration workbook, End-to-End Solution design, Functional Spec preparation, Realization, and coordination of deployment activitiesDemonstrate excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and looked as an internal expert on the Procure 2 Pay product (Ariba, SAP) as well as the associated Enterprise Resource Planning integrations that drive the buy 2 pay processesTranslate Functional Specifications into Application design documents, co-ordination with BASIS, ABAP, PI team, testing of new functionality or Enhancements. Prepare Test plans and Test scripts, Perform Unit tests and integration tests of Ariba solutionCollaborate with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systemsResearch and evaluate potential solutions in the Source to Pay (S2P) space in partnership with the business and application architecture team, performs Proof of Concept (POC), and drive implementation of the proposed solutionSupport and influences the analysis, design and support of software solutions that meet business partner needs; primary area of focus will be on SAP solutions to ARIBAIdentify, recommend, and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentationDevelop, review, and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partnersParticipate in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issuesSupport business efforts in developing a solutions roadmap to support the client's immediate and long-term source-to-pay objectivesProvide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing insights and best practices related to SAP AribaWork closely with stakeholders to understand their procurement and materials management challenges and recommend innovative solutionsStay current with industry trends and advancements in SAP procurement technologies, identifying opportunities for process improvements

  This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

  This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  5+ years of experience with SAP Ariba (configuration, enhancement, customization, integration)5+ years of experience integrating Ariba solutions with SAP and non-SAP applications.5+ years of experience of SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods.3+ years of experience with Ariba implementation projects3+ years of experience with E2E implementationExperience handling Ariba Implementation/Rollout project

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  Experience with procurement process, design and engineering skills including knowledge of Ariba P2P master data and transactional data interfaces, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contract, CIG and effective usage of Ariba open APIsExperience with Ariba infrastructure, webservices and integration layers along with CIG Custom Mapping, Document RoutingExperience with full life cycle global implementationsExperience with defining/implementing worldwide solutions across multiple legal entities in a highly complex systems and project environment) including hands-on design and configurationExperience with business functionalities in Aerospace and Defense industryExperience with communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with communication and writer that works to develop strong relationships with business customers, IT, Infrastructure, vendors and partnersExperience with leading the elicitation of requirements using a variety of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, site visits, use cases, scenarios and business process flowsExperience with configuration dependencies and interrelationships between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4 MM and FI modulesExperience with procurement/supply chain/finance or system support role would be seen as a benefitExperience with Procurement process and Ariba solution (Upstream module, Downstream module, Guided Buying, CIG and API's) with basic understanding of SAP MM, FinanceExperience dealing with integration errors & troubleshootingExperience with team management and stakeholder managementExperience with key business partners clearly and succinctly is essential, including senior executivesSAP certifications in relevant modules

  Typical Education & Experience:

  Typically, 12 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

  Relocation:

  Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary Pay Range: $110,500 - $159,850
