Senior HR Director ABU & US Growth
We are currently looking for a Senior HR Director ABU & US Growth responsible for driving the strategic and operational end-to-end HR agenda across the Accommodations business. The Senior Director will partner with the SVP Accommodations in building a world class working environment for our regional teams and HQ based colleagues. They will be responsible for the company's largest workforce department (3000+ people), driving consistency in colleague experience, whilst using their global reach to create an HR strategy aligned to Booking.com's strategic objectives.
You will manage a globally dispersed team of HR professionals, and influence the COE design of people products or services for our colleagues.
The role will reside in Amsterdam and report to VP HR. You will be a visible leader, trusted partner to the business leaders, accountable for addressing current and future business needs, through leveraging a full range of HR solutions including organizational design, employee engagement & culture, talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, and employee relations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as a trusted advisor and business partner to the ABU LT, developing the people strategy as well as partnering with them on all People matters Lead strategic and operational end-to-end annual People Plan ABU at global level Assure representing the People department towards the business organization and ensuring consistency of colleague experiences Work with the business, VP HR and Chief People Officer on creating a long-term, business aligned people strategy including resource planning, capability development , financial planning, org health and capacity (FTE & budget) Ensure org health by defining the approach for succession planning, management and employee development and wellbeing to drive performance, manage attrition and develop talent Make sure that the people practices adhere to GDPR regulations Coach and partner with Accommodations SVP in developing the Accommodations (Extended) LT as a team and advise on the ALT individual development Collaborate with COE People teams to drive BU-fit for purpose HR solutions, best in class HR support to colleagues Manage directly a global, multilayered team of HR Business Partners and indirectly virtual (project) teams. 15+ years of experience in HR roles
A senior HR leader who brings 15+ years in a strategic position, of which 10+ years in a leading management role
7+ years of experience in business oriented roles
A knowledgeable HR generalist and equally a business leader and builder of HR solutions, based on HR best practices, as well as an astute business member who employs solutions that affect the current and future performance of the business
10+ years of leadership experience of managing large, high performing teams
Experience in leading and engaging diverse and geographically dispersed teams
A global citizen with an international track record
Proven experience working in international, dynamic and consumer-centric business
