At HAV Solutions, we are at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, focusing on creating interface HW components and integrating third-party IPs into existing and new FPGA-based systems. Our Veloce™ proFPGA system architecture is renowned for its best-in-class modularity, scalability, flexibility, and portability, catering to the verification requirements of today's hardware and software engineers.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and develop FPGA IPs for existing and new systems, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery that exceeds customer expectations.
Write comprehensive functional and design specifications.
Qualify 3rd party IPs for complex protocols.
Integrate third-party FPGA IPs into existing and new FPGA systems.
Develop simulation and test environments to showcase protocol integration.
Write host software to drive test environments.
Build deliverable demo designs for seamless integrations.
Create documentation reference material for at-speed interface integrations.
Support hardware developers by providing guidance in FPGA design.
Demonstrate the ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems.
Introduce new technology/knowledge into multiple areas of the product.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
B.Sc in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
+7 years of experience in RTL/Logic design on ASICs or FPGA IP blocks or SOCs using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
Excellent knowledge in Verilog HDL or VHDL.
Hands-on experience in FPGA design flow and interfacing.
Solid knowledge in logic synthesis and synthesis report analysis.
Strong understanding of serial protocol standards.
Demonstrated strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge with others.
Experience using lab equipment such as logic analyzers, scopes, protocol analyzers, and the ability to use them to debug issues.
Hands-on experience with Xilinx development workflow (Vivado + Vitis).
Knowledge of contemporary protocols such as PCIe, UFS, MIPI UniPro, NVMe, USB, SATA, SAS, Ethernet, DDRx.
Ability to work independently and at various levels of abstraction.
